Major Achievements
Study and design energy dissipation devices, numerical methods with applications to cable stayed bridge, offshore structures or rail vehicle.
Developing methods and software for dynamics analysis and design of structures and pipeline systems.
Register the software for vibration control analysis, study the science and technology of vibration control of offshore defense structures by pendulum spring systems.
Mechanical properties of materials and their changes in corrosive environments such as, fly ash concrete in marine environment.
Study on renewable energy devices, evaluating and repair offshore structures and pipelines systems.
Carrying out 2 projects of Ministry of Science and Technology, 4 projects of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology on technology of vibration control of cable stayed bridge, offshore structures and tall buildings.
Carrying out 2 project of Ministry of Science and Technology, 1 project of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology on random vibration and vibration control.
In recent 10 years, advised 6 PhD students completing PhD thesis.
Published 25 papers in Proceedings of National and International Conferences, 17 papers in Nation Scientific Journals, 34 papers in International Scientific Journals including 15 papers in SCI journals.
Published 2 monographs.
Internation relation with University of Stuttgart (Germany), University of Pavia (Italy), Kyoto University (Japan), Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain), KAIST (Korea), Florida University (USA).
